WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE STOLEN GIRLFRIEND CLUB PIECES AND WHY?
Honestly your clothes scream my name. I live in leather and pull most of my style inspo from the 80's punk and glam scene, so you can understand why I love SGC so much. One of my faves are the Paranormal Platform Boots, which I wore to Wembley stadium for Taylor Hawkins memorial concert. I walked around in them for 8 hours and drank tequila with Paul McCartney in those boots so they have a special place in me heart.
DO YOU HAVE ANY PRE-SHOW RITUALS? IF YES, CAN YOU TELL US WHAT?
After getting ready, I do my bandmates' makeup every night so we usually throw on some Motown and have a cheeky pre-show vodka monster while we do it. I have weed myself on stage before so I also try to use the bathroom as much as possible before to avoid that haha.
WHAT INFLUENCES YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?
I would say my style icons are Billy Idol, Joan Jett and Angelina Jolie.
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR CONFIDENCE FROM?
I think I’m lucky because I always kind of liked being the odd one out, so being confident in myself didn’t seem that hard. Now, of course like anyone going through growing pains, I felt the need to fit in and conform from time to time, but it always made me uncomfortable. And that little voice in my head reminded me that all the things that make me different, are actually my superpowers.
WHERE IS YOUR FAVOURITE PLACE TO PERFORM AND WHY??
My favourite places to perform are New York City and Glasgow. The energy of the audiences both those cities are unmatched for me so far. They’re infectious and loud and it really feels like we are experiencing each other. I love that?
WHAT SONG ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
"God Knows I’ve Tried” a few years ago and I’d probably say that’s my most honest song, which definitely makes it one of my proudest. Another one I’m super proud of isn’t released yet. It’s called “Wild”, and is about my boyfriend. I was at home alone one day, just sat at the piano, and it all kinda spilled out.
