First conceived in 2010, Love Claw has always played with a simple contradiction: something precious, held firmly in place.
For this limited release, our signature claws close around Pink Bello Opal — a luminous blush stone alive with shifting flashes of green, blue and gold. There is something dreamlike about the colour, particularly against the strength of the setting; romance made stranger, and considerably more interesting.
Set in polished sterling silver and pale 18k gold, these are familiar Love Claw pieces transformed by an extraordinary new colour.

ABOUT PINK BELLO OPAL
Bello Opal is a lab-grown opal chosen for its remarkable depth, luminosity and play of colour. Composed of approximately 80% of the same chemical material found in natural opal, it captures much of the stone’s distinctive optical character in a more durable form.
Its blush-pink base shifts with the light, revealing flashes of green, blue, gold and lavender, with each stone developing its own individual pattern of colour. As a lab-grown alternative to mined opal, it requires no new gemstone extraction from the earth, allowing us to create extraordinary colour while reducing our reliance on newly mined gemstones.
